EAZI ACCESS WINS THE JLG BEST MARKETING CAMPAIGN AWARD

Eazi Access, one of Africa’s market leaders in the rental, sales, servicing and training of work-at-height and material handling solutions answered the call to enter the JLG EMEA Distributor Awards earlier this year. The competition comprised of four categories, sales, service, marketing, and low-level access. Distributors from Denmark, Poland, South Africa and the UK, were respectively selected as the worthy winners across the four categories.

JLG is renowned for manufacturing lifting equipment which includes aerial lifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and low-level access lifts ensuring workers are lifted safely and efficiently. This ethos is aligned to Eazi Access as we have a strict commitment to safety, reliability, and productivity, across everything we do and in all industries we serve. We pride ourselves in being the sole distributor of JLG in South Africa and Namibia since 2010. With a like-minded value system between JLG and Eazi Access, we have been successful in marketing JLG as a reputable OEM brand associated to Eazi Access.

According to Kim Meszaros, Group Marketing Manager at Eazi Access, “When we received the call to enter the awards, we ceased the opportunity. The JLG Best Marketing Campaign Award was designed to recognize a company that has made a significant contribution to enhance the JLG brand in the market. The judges were looking for clear campaign objectives, creative and effective implementation and tangible and demonstrable results in this category.”

According to Meszaros, “We are honoured to receive this award, as we were up against much larger distributors across the EMEA region. Our customers are looking for rental, sales, servicing, and training across a range of industries, including Agriculture, Construction, Entertainment, Heavy Industry, Light Industry as well as Mining. Having so many diverse customers with different needs, it is important for Eazi Access to understand our customer needs correctly, ensuring the right solution is provided. This is made easier with the extensive range of JLG products we market. Eazi Access currently markets 10 different JLG product categories spanning 70 different types of machines, together with a host of attachments. The JLG brand has been promoted to our customers in tandem with the Eazi Access brand across all our brand touch points.”

Meszaros continues, “These brand touch points include our website, marketing collateral, promotional material, social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. It further expands to email campaigns, ad campaigns, newsletters, various events & exhibitions as well as advertising & digital videos.

In addition, our communities play an important role within our climate. Eazi Access subtly markets our OEM partners such as JLG through various community development work we do. Our stakeholders and shareholders are also vitally important to our Marketing strategy and understanding the value of the JLG brand, as they have a vested interest in the success of our company as a whole.

Overall, in our JLG Best Marketing Campaign Award entry we had to demonstrate, with supporting statistical analysis, that we have played a significant role as Eazi Access in promoting brand association, brand awareness and brand equity to JLG’s brand, thus enhancing JLG’s reputation as the brand of choice in the industry.”  

The Awards

Key distributors from 19 countries including Eazi Access South Africa were recently invited to the New Perspective event in Leicester, UK and had the opportunity to see a range of new machines and hear about the latest developments through insightful presentations and interactive workshops. They also had the chance to meet face-to-face with JLG product managers and members of senior management to discuss industry trends and the needs of their respective markets. This event cumulated with a dinner to celebrate the first-time JLG EMEA Distributor Awards.

“Our Leicester facility opened two years ago, just before the first lockdown of the pandemic,” said Karel Huijser, JLG General Manager and Vice President for EMEAIR. “We are extremely proud of it, and this is the first time we have been able to host an event of this kind. Welcoming our distributors from across Europe, the Middle East, and South Africa, has brought a special kind of energy to our facility.”

Terence Casey, Business Development Manager of Eazi Access, was delighted to attend the New Perspective event. “I’ve enjoyed the New Perspective event, it’s an impressive facility, and it’s inspiring to see new machines and gain an insight into what’s coming next.”
